"I've been coaching in the fitness industry for over 10 years, and have a medical background as a Nurse. My passion for fitness was birthed from my Recovery out of an eating disorder in my early 20's. Since- it has been my mission to help others recognize that their health has nothing to do with the weight on the scale, and has everything to do with how you feel, how your nourish your body, and the physical and mental strength you gain from the journey. CrossFit is what helped me realize that! When I'm away from the gym I enjoy time in the woods with my Husband and our 3 daughters. And in my spare time (which is minimal, hahaha- I homeschool, I'm a cheer mom, a mama bear to many, and love baking and cooking for family and friends!"
Favorite workout: EMOMs, and Running combined with Strength or Gymnastics.

Since starting in 2017, its helped me get in the best shape I've ever been in for Hunting Season and packing out animals. "I'm originally from the farm country in the high plains of Nebraska, but excited to be in the high desert of Arizona! My goal is to ensure all of my athletes at High Desert CrossFit have fun, are safe, and feel a part of a welcoming and supporting community while pursuing all of their potential to be better every day. As a competitive two sport athlete in high school and multi sport club and intramural athlete in college (Go Cornhuskers!!!), I feel I bring a balance of competitiveness with a mid west level of compassion and care for all athletes. Outside of the CrossFit community, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling, building things, house projects, scuba diving, and adventures with my dogs and girlfriend."

I was able to take my own fitness journey and apply it to my my physically demanding career as a first responder. "My fitness journey started a few years after I graduated high school. Growing up I didn’t work out much and had a horrible diet. I had a friend who went to a gym with me and we did a typical “bench day” workout and I immediately was hooked to working out. I went to a commercial gym and was consistently going and seeing progress. Fast forward a few years later and I joined my very first CrossFit gym and enjoyed that even more than the globo-gyms. I loved the intensity in the workouts and how CrossFit was more than just a gym, it’s community and family oriented. After doing CrossFit for a little bit, I had interest in getting my L1 and was encouraged by others in my box to get it and start coaching. I obtained my L1 cert in July of 2021 and shadowed with the best coaches and have learned so much more about CrossFit and myself as an athlete. I am very thankful for High Desert and all the coaching staff for mentoring me and helping me grow as a coach and an athlete. Outside of the gym I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoy being outdoors. My son Logan and I are very close and do almost everything together. My wife Ashlyn and I are expecting our second son this summer!"

"I'm a fun, outgoing CrossFit enthusiast, that loves the dunes, dirtbikes, and days out on the boat. I have been Crossfiting for over 6 years. My goal is to coach and make each individual more fit and healthy everyday. I love for my athletes to have one hour a day where you get to relieve all of your stress while getting more fit next to other hardworking individuals. Through my coaching there will be lots of encouragement, lots of laughs ,and most importantly a lot of good times!"

I’m a momma, wife, and grandma. Just loving life and I love people! It’s one reason I got interested in coaching CrossFit! Watching and working with people and helping them push through life is a huge bonus I get to be apart of as their coach. The mental health side of fitness is so important and everything else that comes with CrossFit. I just love it. Outside of my family, the CrossFit community has also become my family! When I'm not at the box, I love being outside, hanging with my family, spending time with my dog and being the most positive little human I can be.
